New DEFRA Quarantine Rules
From 1st January,2012 the UK will harmonise its pet movement rules with the rest of the European Union. All pets will still need to be vaccinated against rabies. Pets from the EU and listed non-EU countries will no longer need a blood test and will only have to wait 21 days before they travel. Our current group of galgos in quarantine https://greyhoundsinneed.co.uk/adoption/adoptiongalgos.htm will be released on 5th December and we are currently looking at how the above change will affect the numbers of galgos we are able to bring to the UK and how we will handle this in future.
