Trustees’ pages Adopting a Galgo puppy!
It was with great
excitement we went to
meet our long awaited
Galgo puppy Tyche!
She was a bit shell
shocked to be off the van
and into the cold, wet UK.
Tyche is a wonderful
addition to our family.
The kennels in Spain did a
great job in producing a well balanced pup with great
social skills – with dogs and humans.
Our resident dog Tiber, a
mastiff cross, had to work
out how to play with this
noisy, leggy puppy but
after a couple of weeks
they had it sorted and are
great friends.
She has been brilliant with our children (ages 11, 13, 15) and they can walk her
and play with her in the garden, which they love.
Being with our cats is a work in progress, she wants
to play with them as though they are a puppy, which
obviously doesn’t go well, but things are improving.
She is very
unsure about
meeting our
tortoise
Remus, I
don’t think
she can work
out whether
he is alive or
a moving toy.
