We recently were asked for our help
from a small charity in Devon, Hearts
4 Dogs, who were raising funds to
help three galgos. One, Roma, needed
an urgent operation on her back
leg. We were pleased to be able to
offer some funding to Sue and her
team towards Roma’s veterinary costs
and transport costs to bring Roma,
Trianna and Alma to the UK.

Thanks to Sue making contact with us Alma
we heard about the work of Carmen
and Christine at the Companero Fiel
Baena in Cordoba.

We have been in touch with Carmen
and Christine to find out more about
their work. They help all dogs, all
breeds, and receive many galgos—
some in very bad condition.

We have been able to send some
donated coats, blankets, dog leads,
collars etc to them, which they were
very grateful for, and have now Trianna
offered some funding towards their
monthly food bills.

We have also offered to cover some Hearts 4 Dogs
initial veterinary costs for galgos they
rescue and at the time of writing this newsletter we are waiting for news on
the first group of galgos we are helping. We will post news on our site and FB
page and will have more to report on this new contact in our next newsletter.
