We had so many plans for this year. Phil was looking forward to
spending three weeks in Germany with his friend Scott watching
England play in the Euros, a trip he had been planning for years and
which he was still planning on the morning of his
passing. Later in the summer we were planning
to go on a sunshine holiday to either Malta or
Spain which we both loved, then to Scotland to
watch the Open Golf and not forgetting a
return visit to see our friends at Greyhounds in
Need HQ in Egham where we had been made so
welcome two years ago.
Phil and I both got along so well because we shared an interest in sport
but especially football. I have kept his seat next to me at Oldham so he
can be with me in spirit whilst we watch the match together.
Phil and I both love animals especially our beloved greyhounds, horses
and hedgehogs. He was a very kind person and enjoyed sitting in the
beautiful garden of the cottage in Cornwall watching all the birds and
the local wildlife, including this year a family of ducks and ducklings who
came to visit us every day.I know that he would want me to adopt
another, older dog, who needs me. I am sure that when the time is right
one will come along and find me.
Phil was a very special person who is greatly missed by everyone who
knew him, but especially by me.
All my love
Sue
