We enclose our latest merchandise
catalogue and hope you will take a look
and find some gifts for you and your
four legged friends. We have sadly had
to increase some of our prices due to
costs to us going up. We have our
Christmas items available now including
our new Christmas card (photo right) -

As we all seem to have more time to
shop on line please don’t forget that you can help us raise funds by shopping via
Easyfundraising — https://easyfundraising.org.uk and/or Amazon Smile
https://smile.amazon.co.uk both offer a great way to raise money for
charities.
We also include in this newsletter our Christmas Treats Appeal, page 19.
This has always been popular and it is lovely for the dogs in the shelters to get
some extra treats over the festive season. We continue to receive many kind
donations of coats, blankets, dog toys, leads etc and these are always needed.
Since coming back to the office we have been able to send 17 Large (25kg)
boxes to various shelters in Spain where they have been much appreciated.
Our last group of galgos have all been adopted and you can read more news on
them on pages 8-9. We are now getting excited about the arrival of our new
group of 16 galgos who should be arriving in November. This group will be
coming from Tina at Galgos del Sol and you can see some photos and brief
information on these dogs on pages 14-16.
The interest in the galgos continues to be high and we have a long waiting
list for them. We have been fortunate to have the help of Sue, a long time
supporter of GIN, with the homing and are very grateful to her for the
amount of time she has devoted to finding our lovely rescues some wonderful
homes.
It just remains for me to say a very big THANK YOU to Tracey and Geraldine
for all their help, especially during the last year. Our workload continues
to increase but it makes the days go very quickly, we are always busy. We
couldn’t do our work without the wonderful support you continue to give us.
Please take care, keep safe and hopefully soon life will get back to normal for
us all. I wish you, your families and your dogs a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.
