SOS Galgos

We are pleased to be working with Anna and her
team at SOS Galgos in Barcelona. They have
been helping greyhounds and galgos for many
years.

We have been able to help with some boarding
and transport costs for galgos they can help like
Keanu, Klaus, Fargo and Fenix (photos right)

We have known for some time that Anna would
like her own kennels so we were thrilled to hear
that she has now signed the lease on kennels in
Barcelona. It will make their work a lot easier
as they will have the dogs nearer to their home.

The kennels will be called “SOS Galgos Help
Centre”. They have now received the keys so
the work begins to make some modifications to
the kennels to increase access and security.
We have offered funding towards this work.

We have just sent three large boxes of coats,
blankets, collars, leads and dog bowls to SOS
Galgos along with more educational material.

They work hard on promoting legislation,
informing and educating the public, and working
to change the Spanish perception towards galgos.
We are very pleased that they are keen to
promote and use our educational material and Photos: SOS Galgos
their new centre will have a separate area
devoted to education.
