Our July Galgos
As mentioned earlier in the newsletter we have had many enquiries from
potential adopters for the galgos and were pleased to be able to arrange for
fifteen more galgos to come to the UK in July.
We were very grateful to Tina and her
team at Galgos del Sol for preparing
these galgos for us at short notice and
to Eva and Jorge of TodoPatas for
transporting them safely to Mutts n’
Moggies, the boarding kennels we use
here in the UK.

and Leigh
It was nice to meet Eva and Jorge again and hear about the journey and of
course to meet the galgos! Our vet Trustee, Leigh, came to the kennels when
the galgos arrived and checked them over. They were all so good and apart
from a couple who were a bit nervous of us, they came quite happily for a
fuss and of course some treats !
Marie, Emma and their team soon had the
dogs fed, watered and walked and when we
left they were all very comfortable in their
new kennels.
We gave them a couple of weeks to settle
and also to give ourselves some time to get
to know them and then started to make
arrangements for potential adopters to
come and visit them.
The first galga to leave was Tania, now
Purdy, and she travelled to Lincs. with Di
to start her new life. Di is the sister of
our Trustee, Christine, so she was on hand Purdy
to help if necessary.
