News Update

Dear Friends,

It is hard to believe it is newsletter time again but I hope you will enjoy
reading this latest one and catching up on our work over the last 6 months.

We are pleased to be able to fund some great projects in Spain including a new
puppy corner for Galgos Rescue Almeria—more news on this on pages 18-19.

Also continuing our support for education
throughout the shelters we have been able to offer
funding towards the costs involved in the
conversion of the new school on wheels “Galgoteca”
at Galgos del Sol. You can read more on this
exciting project on page 22.

Our lovely new group of galgos for adoption in the
UK arrived safely on a beautiful sunny morning at
the beginning of April. Thanks
once again to Eva and Jorge
from TodoPatas for making this
possible.
We are once again very grateful
to Tina and her team at Galgos del Sol for
organising the veterinary treatment and necessary
paperwork for the galgos entry into the UK.
Sue and Lynda who help us with the homing have
been busy getting to know this new group and
finding their forever homes, many thanks for your
help with this.
Galgo Jake came along with his owner Trustee Geraldine to
meet his Spanish cousins. Not quite sure what Jake was
saying to Rupert in this picture, probably don’t be fooled by
the sunshine today it normally rains here!
