TRIBUTES
It is with great sadness we have to report that Holly (previously
Lua), who we homed almost 9 years ago, left us recently to
travel over the Rainbow Bridge to join her bestest Galgo friend,
Galatea, who we lost last August. Holly was really never the same
after Galatea left us and she sadly lost her fight from kidney
failure.
She has been through the wars at times, suffering from acute
allergy issue but she was always known at our vets as the best
patient they had ever treated, never flinching and accepting all
the needles and tablets needed. She introduced us to the world
of Galgos, always being a collie person in the past. When the time
is right and we have the accommodation (she leaves behind 4
others!!) we will definitely be there to take in another galgo soul –
they are an amazing breed.
Thank you Greyhounds in Need for saving Holly and for giving us
the privilege to own such a gorgeous lady. She will always be in
our hearts and minds.
