In December we learnt that Lesley and Paul
were devastated that they had lost their
beautiful fawn brindle girl, Flo, at the age of 12
years, and later in December that Stella,
another brindle girl had succumbed to the
infirmities of old age at the grand old age of 14
POLLY TOM years.
Stella, together with her greyhound brother
Tom and their family Sandra and Graham were
STELLA stalwarts of our
fundraising events for
many years especially in
Cleveleys. After the
earlier passing of Graham
TRISH and Tom, this was very
much the end of an era.

In January, Daphne got in touch to say that they had lost their lovely boy,
Smudge, who had had a long and happy life in North Wales, with his greyhound
brother Bobby and two Westies called Sooty and Sweep. Smudge was aged 13
years and we had fond memories of a day in North Wales doing his homing
paperwork in December 2015.
Last but by no means least, we have recently spent a
lovely afternoon with one of our old ladies, Foxy, SUNNY
together with her galgo friends Sunny and Lisa and her
fantastic indomitable owner Jim, Lisa's mum Deb and
Sunny's mum and dad Jen and Roy. Foxy will reach the
ripe old age of 15 in June and we are all hoping that she
will make it to that milestone birthday.

Thanks for reading, we hope that you and your hounds enjoy your summer and we
look forward to being in touch again very soon.

Since writing my article we have heard that Foxy has passed over the Rainbow
Bridge. Our thoughts are with Jim and everyone who has loved her over the
years, especially her mum Jennifer and her greyhound sister Charity. RIP
beautiful girl. All our love Sue and Phil.
