News Update

Dear Friends,

Once again I am writing this newsletter from home and finding it hard to
believe that we have all been dealing with this awful pandemic for over a year.
I am sure, like me, you all hoped that 2021 would bring some normality back to
our lives. It is therefore good to hear that restrictions are being lifted slowly
but for now we all have to continue to find ways to deal with the situation.

Tracey and I have been able to do quite a lot of our work from home and have
again continued to take it in turns to go to the office to deal with the post and
parcel up and send off eBay purchases and merchandise orders. We would like
to thank you all for your patience as it has taken us longer than we usually take
to respond to postal correspondence and orders.

We have been overwhelmed this past year at the continued generosity of our
supporters. We have also received some lovely messages from you which has
definitely helped keep our spirits up.

Many of you have sent in donations and
over £2,000 was raised for Christmas
Treats for the galgos.

Our Summer raffle last year was very
successful and we hope we can count
on your support again this year. We
enclose a book of raffle tickets with Photo: APA,
this newsletter. The Draw will take Santa Clara
place on 27th August, 2021.

Unfortunately at the time of writing
we don’t have any events planned. As you know we, and many supporters
around the country, organise stalls at local fairs, walks and street collections
but for now we have to wait to see what might be possible later in the year.
Please keep checking our website and Facebook page as we will post any news
regarding events on there.

We keep looking for new ways to fundraise and during lockdown have had more
time to put items on eBay. We receive some lovely donations throughout the
year and as people have more time at the moment to shop on line have been
amazed at the sales we have had. Tracey has been busy researching donated
goods and loading on the photographs and descriptions onto the site. Also
some supporters have loaded up items and donated a percentage or all of their
sale value to GIN so many thanks to you all for doing this. If you have any
